3rd Annual Day at the Farm
Our 3rd Annual Bluegrass Jamboree and Diabetes Health Fair, benefiting diabetes education in rural North Carolina, will take place on Saturday, October 23, 2010.
This family fun event will feature local bluegrass bands, craft vendors, cloggers, hayrides, pumpkin painting, food, and a diabetes health fair. Tickets are just $10 in advance and $12 at the door; children under 12 are admitted free.
Our annual Day at the Farm event is the Diabetes Bus Initiative’s largest fundraiser and allows us to continue offering free, quality diabetes education to rural North Carolina.
The event takes place on Vance County Farm, a beautiful 15 acre farm in Kittrell, NC (4349 Gillburg Rd.), just a 35 mile drive from Capitol Blvd. We look forward to seeing you at the farm!
