4th Annual Day at the Farm
A wonderful time was had by all at the 4th Annual Day at the Farm Bluegrass Jamboree and Barbecue!!! Thank you to GrassStreet, Sourwood Mountain Band, and The Backporch Boys for all of the amazing bluegrass music enjoyed throughout the day. And a big thank you to The Apple Chill Cloggers - we always have a swell time watching them perform. Our 1st Barbecue Sauce Competition was a hit!!! Thanks ...to all the competitors: Nephews BBQ, Dimples BBQ Sauce, Tay's All Purpose Southern BBQ Sauce, Momma G's Down Home Grilling Sauces, Uncle Bob's Grillin' & Dippin' Sauce, Mother's Secret Sauce, and Bart's Old North State. Congratulations to Momma G's for Best Hot Sauce and Bart's Old North State for Best Mild Sauce - they were all so-o-o good!! We're looking forward to next year - tentative date is Saturday, October 20, 2012! Keep checking back for updates, and thanks for supporting The Diabetes Bus Initiative.
