Diabetes Management Solutions "Living Well With Diabetes" Class and Question Series

If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with diabetes and want to learn more about managing the disease, join The Diabetes Bus Initiative® for its “Living Well With Diabetes” series offered the first Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon.

10-11 - The Living Well with Diabetes series will address a variety of issues relevant to people with diabetes and their families. Health professionals along with people that are living well with diabetes will facilitate discussions on controlling diabetes. There will even be presentations on what to do if you have been told you were at high risk for developing diabetes.

11-12- A certified diabetes educator will be available to answer individuals’ questions.  During this time, the Resource Room will be open for people to read, borrow a book from the lending library, or choose from the many free resources, DVDs, and handouts in our Resource Room that will help make managing diabetes a little easier.

The John C Peckham Resource Room and Lending Library- is also open to the public every Thursday, 12-2pm. This room is dedicated to our long time board member and friend who struggled with diabetes and wanted everyone to have access to resources and help.
